KCOD is a college and community radio station in the Coachella Valley. We are a platform for College of the Desert students & faculty, rising artists and the greater Coachella Valley community. We cultivate new radio personalities, play a variety of music and discover new artists for your college and community radio soundtrack.

KCOD is located at College of the Desert, which launched in 2011. KCOD’s specialty variety format operates 24/7 on 1450 AM and 99.9 FM in the Coachella Valley, and streams online on Tune-in and the KCOD app.

Students from the College of the Desert RTV classes not only comprise the staff of the radio station, they write, produce and appear as on-air talent. Students get hands-on experience with broadcasting and production, and are in charge of every aspect of operating the radio station. We also have volunteer hosts and Djs from around the Coachella Valley community.
